"I had the best fine dining experience ever, firstly based on the fact that I loved the service, casual yet formal, Belle was amazing ( A big asset to you guys) , loved how she made us feel welcoming and secondly the food because delicate flavours, we loved our starters, I also loved the dessert but the main for me was not so great cause I thought my lamb was undercooked and I could taste the raw meat but I think it could be my personal preference. But amazing experience, we got a cute anniversary note from Belle and the host was also polite. A good meal, Thank you"

"Had been to 31k and Yolk and enjoyed them both so decided to book Skein for an anniversary meal and we weren't disappointed. They very kindly gave us a free glass of champagne each before the meal and our meal itself was fantastic. The pilpil scallops for our starters were delicious - a pair of juicy scallops in a spicy and tasty sauce. I had the duck breast for main and was was equally good. Tender, salty duck breast on a bed of buttery, earthy lentils. Rather than a sweet dessert we shared a trio of cheeses which were excellent and served with sweet chutney and quince jelly. Then a couple of super coffees finished our meal off nicely. Service was great and enthusiastic and the whole experience was top notch. Also pleasantly surprised to see a Polish wine on the menu and it was really good also. Not cheap but worth the money and we'd definitely visit again."

"Had an amazing meal at Skein! The scallops were cooked perfectly, the beef fillet was so tender, and the chicken supreme was juicy and full of flavor. The vibe of the place is really welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for a special night out!"

"Visited skein as an early birthday meal out. The waiter was friendly and helpful, and gave me a free glass of cava because it was my birthday which was lovely. The food was fantastic, well seasoned and well presented. They even had mini mince pies to finish the meal with which was a lovely touch. Looking forward to going back soon!"

"We came to Skein for our anniversary meal having been before with the old menu and really loving it. The scallops and oysters were delicious. The cod was also really nicely cooked. The gnocchi was nice but a little dry with no sauce. However, the staff as always were attentive and friendly. We definitely will be back. It has a lovely atmosphere."

"I booked Skein for a birthday celebration on a Friday evening. The location was easy to find. The menu was simple, and everything was delicious, especially the vegetarian option. I had the filling saffron risotto. We shared three starters, three mains, and two desserts, plus drinks. Despite the hot weather and limited air conditioning, the food was so good that it made up for it. The staff were amazing and very friendly."
